Debating new Ralliart, GSR or MR
Hi guys!
I'm just curious, how hard is it to get 300WHP on the Ralliart?
I know the reflash will net about 50HP/TQ or so.
I'm debating between the Ralliart, GSR and MR.
My local mitsu dealership is doing 8,000 off the MR so it's the same price as the GSR. I have not been to see what they can negotiate on the Ralliart or GSR yet.

Frankly, it comes down to budget.
If you can comfortably afford an Evo X, buy the Evo X: It is better. You'll have more stretching room in performance with the X, and hit your stated goals a lot easier.
The Ralliart is an awesome car, but it comes down to cost in my mind.

Just fyi, a $200 custom tune will get you over 300whp with the Evo.
I definitely recommend the MR all the way. I love mine and haven't had a sliver of regret since I got mine.
Side note, I got in a serious mountain bike accident about 5 days ago and haven't got to drive me car... so bummed.

as is stated all over the site... if you want to do alot of power adding the MR is NOT the way to go... however if your goal is 300WHP the MR and GSR can do either easily....
It comes down to a "proper manual" or the SST
if the GSR or MR is in your budget I would not even consider the RA (nothing against the RA)

I guess my question was a little loaded... It all comes down to budget.
Since I bought a 2009 civic SI not that long ago (which I'm not happy with) that's gotta be factored in there.
*shrug* thanks guys

Honestly...GSR if you can negotiate the price.
If the modding bug has bitten you, I must repeat others' sentiment that you must stay away from the MR, you'll thank us in the long run.

That really depends where he wants to be with modding. I was perfectly happy with 340whp and 320wtq in my VIII. Modding, the MR can take a lot more abuse than people think, just have to keep the wtq below 340. HP wise you can go pretty high. There are some that are over 400whp now. Personally I'll be very happy with 340whp / 320wtq in my MR

Like most ppl have said, if u can afford an X get it but u might also have to factor in maintenance cost, it might not have a snazzy interior the up keep on the Evo is definitely not cheap. Even thought the RA will leave u wanting more power that is where the RA will make up for its power deficit. Also if you want to get high gains the RA and MR is not the safest way to go right now. That is where the GSR shines. With a base flash the RA can be in Evo territory but only stock Evo territory, u may want to push for more. Also if u haven't driven the SST yet u better do it first because its not for everyone. I personally love the transmission and i have no regrets but other ppl might not think the same way. If i could afford an MR i would take it though, There is a GG one close by w/o the Aero kit i got my eyes on and with the power that migs has on his i think i would be satisfied.
