I don't have documentation with me but isn't the 15k service just like, new oil, new oil filter, and new air filter?

I think they change the air and cabin filter as well, certainly not worth $369

If the 09 RA is awd, then they would change differential and transfercase fuilds too.

I've heard all kinds of stuff about void warranty becuase of doing maintnance somewhere else, but I think it's only if you buy a extended warranty from a 3rd party. I could be totally wrong though.

OT - I thought you where selling??

If the RA's follow a similar maintenance schedule with the Evo X then this should provide some useful information.

I'll check the manual again..but the differential/t-case fluids are only "checked" for the first 25-30k or so miles. No changing of those yet, I don't think. I could be wrong though - I'll check when I can get my hands on the manual.

Side note; I'm dreading 60k miles...SST Fluids need to be changed. SST Diaqueen fluid is pretty much worth its weight in gold.

Yeah I still am, but as of now it's still my car and I'm going to continue to take care of it until I sell it.

Most likely, I wont end up selling up. It's tough, maybe someone will buy it, who knows.

im in no rush.

btw, I just noticed this in the Mitsubishiparts.net threads. You may benefit from it!

Lancer ES DE GTS / Lancer Ralliart / Evolution X 15K Premium Service Kit
$93.00 Shipped. Much better than the $369.00

np, I was looking for the in-cabin air purifier and ran into that thread. Lucky I was browsing the mitsuparts forum I guess.
