Do you mean the flip up kind?

I'm making one that sticks straight out just like the rear but it will mount flat and the tow hook hole will extend out past the front bumper, bolted to the front crash beam...I'll post pics when it's installed

yes, that one. When i pulled the little cut out in the bumper theres styrofoam looking stuff behind it. i didnt really want to cut out a hole but if theres a threaded hole back behind it then i might do just that.

So I'm guessing that's a evos front end from the holes in the front. Unless thats a Ralliart and Mitsubishi just covered them with that big black bar we have. The hole to the left (right side of the car) does not look threaded

Yeah, it's from the JDM Evo. It fits perfectly on my car and that hole in the beam just to the left of the UICP below the horn IS in-fact threaded to accept a tow-hook.

I'm not low, that's weight reduction!

I ordered it through my dealership, part number is 6400B095.

Any dealer can order it, you'll just have to prepay and then wait like 3-4 weeks. Best part is, unlike all the other aftermarket JDM stuff, authentic Mitsu stuff, when ordered through your dealership, comes through normal stock order distribution, so there are no overseas freight charges.

If you're local to me, swing by the shop and I'll get you a good price

My dealer does not have 6400B095. Sad :-(

Seems like they are no longer available. Anyone able to find them?

Your dealer will not be able to look it up in their C.A.P.S. program. They will have to contact the California (or Washington, I can't remember which) PDC directly and arrange for an international order using that part number. It can and has been done multiple times. Your dealership is just being lazy. Part should cost right around $225-275, iirc., depending on how much they decide to mark it up, of course.

Japanparts is a great source for many hard to find JDM items, but when it comes to authentic Mitsu parts, it will ALWAYS be cheaper to order through the dealership. Initial pricing may be slightly higher, but there should be NO additional shipping charges whatsoever.

Man, our dealership is hardheaded and LAZY!!! They going to call me later about the part. He finally gave in after bothering them about it. I really don't like my dealership at all. To bad they are the only ones in the area. The next one is 4hrs away.
