asymmetrical mirror glass

Anyone ever seen these for the Lancer?

I had them in my VW and they would be a HUGE help with the RAs blind spot.

I heard the passenger side mirrors were convex. So technically you can order a european passenger side mirror for the drivers side here.

I've got those Rexpeed convex'd mirrors. They work very well. I love the blue tint on them, too. I recommend them.

I would think the blue tint would be pretty annoying during the day... How is it at night?

How much more are you able to see with the wider angle?

The blues were hard for me at night (I was never comfortable with everything behind me being darkened.)

The wide angle was awesome in the GTI, I literally did not have a drivers side blind spot (the objects would be in the mirror right up to the point they were visible thru the window.)

Anyone have a source for euro-spec parts?

The blue tint is not too dark, I believe it's just right. It's comparable to the blue tint you'd see on BMW's. At night, I feel it's pretty great. I can see just as much at night as stock mirrors. The angle/bulge isn't too extreme, convexed enough to not have a blind spot!
