Ralliart Trade In

As much as I would want an EVO X right now I just could not afford it. It is good to know the numbers that dealerships are offering on the option of upgrading to the X. I would assume that if you could get an 08 X for close enough value to the Ralliart I would be able to swing it.

I am trying to refinance mine and the credit union said they will loan 21,000 against it with 15,600 miles. The funny thing is their system doesn't add any value for any options. She said it shows nothing other than the Ralliart model, yet when she pulls up a GTS it adds value for Auto trans, Navigation, and a few other things. Yet KBB, Edmunds, and NADA all add value for the Fosgate system, nav, etc.
I'm trying to fight another 1k out of them so I can get into a nice comfy low interest rate.

I had a dealership offer me 24k for mine. I had 6000 miles on it. They had a 08 GSR in same Octane blue as my RA. They were selling it for 28k with 11,000 miles on it. I almost did it, but I can barley afford my RA as it is. Sucks when you get divorced and get stuck trying to pay the mortgage on your own. I’m thinking an EVO or a new 5.0 Mustang in 2 years. By that time I should be in better financial shape.

I got a Canada Black Book value for my Ralliart with the $5000 premium package. I paid $41,000 for the car and now it is worth $24-26,000 with 10,000km on it. I think that Mitsubishi's depreciate way more then the Land Rover (which is the worst out of all manufacturers).

The dealer worked great with me. I picked up a 2010 PBP GSR. It's an amazing car I have to say. I've been wanting a Evo for 6+ years and it was worth the wait. I can't lie when I say I'll miss my RA though. The RA is a great and fun car to drive. I still reach for the paddles every once in a while, and I still reach to throw it in auto but I'll get used to a manual again. Thanks to everyone in the RA community for all the help and info over the past few months. I'll still be checking in on the RA's progress and to see what Ryan comes up with.

Congrats Justin! I just wanted to throw out that I paid 22,500 for my '09 RA (Recaro Package) with 10,000 mi on it back in October 09. At the time, that was the best price RA within 1000 miles of me that I could find online...but gives you a realistic idea. Quick search on Autotrader and there is a WW 09 RA w/ 23,XXX going for $19,980 in FL (only one I've seen below what I paid), next is a RG in OK with 5,XXXX and they are asking $22,995. So realistically, you should be very happy with the trade $ they gave you.
The RA in FL is well below everyone else, but the best (or most comical) one I've seen is an '09 TB RA with 10,XXX in WA going for (drum roll)...............$29,999
