Are you refering to the upper IC pipe? The answer is I don't think so. The Evo X FMIC mouths are larger. However, either way if you are keeping the OEM IC piping and just changing out the intercooler you will have to change out both the upper and lower FMIC pipe openings.

Here's why. The OEM pipes are too long for the taller and wider Evo X FMIC. I saw a post somewhere were someone did what you are suggesting. If I find it, I'll post it here.

I've changed mine as well, only changed the upper piping & bottom pipe is still stock (unfortunately wasnt included.)

Though I didn't remove the intrusion bar to fit it, having an extra pair of hands helped maneuver it in.
