Thanks Rocky, 14 days of ownership and I still love it! I have just been searching the forums and trying to learn as much as I can. I think I have my mind set on doing the GST and boost pill as my first mod.

I am still confused as to what BOV to go with.

Is the stock EVO X any louder or better for an upgrade? I have seen videos on the turbosmart and they do sound good but they are also 300!

My pleasure!! The stock evo x bpv is not louder but it will handle the boost that you are going to have with gst tune. Our stock plastic bpv will leak very easily under more boost. The metal evo x bpv is good till 28 psi of boost, witch is more then enough for the tune. If you get a second hand it is not more then 80 to 100$.
With more boost you will hear the bpv a lot more for that nice sound we all want.

Thanks that makes a lot of sense. I think that will be the route I want to go for now. The GST tune, boost pill, and then the EVOX BOV for a good price. Will the dealership know I have an EVO X BOV just by looking at it?

It wont affect your warranty. For the tune I would get the cobb access port to put the gst tune on it, I think you don't need boost pill for that ( ask gst ) and you will be able to tune back to stock wen going to stealership for maintenance. Unless they don't mind the tune.

One reason I don't want to go with the cobb is 450.00 used cobb compared to 160.00 cable for free GST tune and 20.00 for boost pill.

The cobb would be so easy to use. Is the cobb as good as the GST even though you can't use the boost pill with the cobb?

I guess reading your post what do you mean by using the cobb to put the GST tune on? Wouldn't it either be using cobb for a cobb tune or Tatrix for GST tune?

gst will put their tune on the cobb access port so before you go to the dealer you can tune back to normal. The map from the gst tune will be uploaded on the access port.
