i never said we were ALWAYS, i was referring to a. here where i live, and b. showing that the launch control while nice, on a general basis doesnt offer a great advantage launching... as you can see from my 60 foot.

not to mention that vehicle is running 9's, not 12's and 13's.

I assume it has alot more power.

Just buy a Evo, that's a terrible waste of money.

Plus the Evo 8-9 guys are doing just fine without AYC and the AYC rear diff ends up breaking with any real power or grip anyway.

Yup it's great for a RA but it's nothing to brag about for a Evo.

i dont want to ruin the parade, but who exactly bragging what? Just make it clear for me please.

i guess i miss understood this:
"we have the ability to better control how much boost we launch with. They dont."
/referring to the Evo/
That statement is simply false.

"the AYC rear diff ends up breaking with any real power or grip anyway."

interesting...
that car is on the time slip 800 hp on the AYC...
looks to me, she gets her fair share of abuse... LOL

i suggest leave the evo alone, and answer the question. please:
"The engine and the TCU doesnt communicate together? If they do, there is any problems , because a different TQ level at a same rpm's and speeds?"

rob

Do a search on the Europe forums. Tons of track guys breaking the AYC rear diffs and swapping with RS rear diffs over the years.

Ryan no longer runs AYC as well and bunch of drag guys have gone through the rear diffs.

I don't just make crap up.

I dont need to search there , i lived there and i drove Ayc car before i came here
there is other reason why they dont run AYC, not because they break. First of all the LSD is cheaper to replace and buy then a AYC, so mostly they swap the for cost and weight reduction. Also yes its for high TQ it is weak just as any other LSD which is not designed for hight TQ. /oem LSD/
But to keep swapping the LSD is cheaper then do a same with the AYC . A lot. Also more simple to do it. That is why i will change mine.
If you dont have crazy TQ i would say you dont need to worry, they are just as reliable as the other ones.
Those drag guy going through on LSD as well... Nature of the beast, and a way you launch it.
