no offense but do some car buying research. You seem way ill-prepared for such a large purchase like this. edmunds.com has great articles on how to purchase a car properly, and it doesn't sound like the dealership did anything wrong. If they can't roll over the negative equity into the new loan, that might mean your credit is very bad, and in that case 450 might be a great deal for your situation

450 monthly payments is way too vague

Never negotiate off of payment amounts. Theyll just string out the length of the loan to get it down and youll be paying on it for 7 years.

You def need to do some reading on how to not get screwed or you're just going to end up upside down again.

I don't have a bad credit at all "700" which i know is pretty darn good. I still have yet to ask them again how much for the 09 Fully Loaded Gts. Just worried I might get duped for trading it in.

I am actually worried about you stepping foot into that dealership again. You need to go with someone who knows this game.

You always get a full break down of the numbers printed off before deciding. You need to find out what they are offering for your GTS vs what you owe on it. Thats the first step and always should be...

$0 down, 0% for 60 months for a 2010 RA with Recaros and HIDs = $512.

I thought about trading the RA for an Evolution, but decided against it because of whatever negative equity I would have.

Precisely. You should ALWAYS try to negotiate the sale price, before working tax, trade-ins, down payments, etc. into the equation.

Allright dealership called in and told me 15k for my 09 Sun and sound package Gts. The downside is I still owe 3000 on my 09 which is not bad. Minus rebate and customer loyalty which will bring it down to 1500 plus the new loan. Not bad right? As of right now, I am trying to deal with them for the car price. We will see tomorrow. 23,000 for base sounds good.

You can drop it down more....They're going to be on sale soon for Presidents week sale which is when I bought mine in 2009 and wound up buying it for 19,500 with 500 trade in for 95 Hyundai and 500 cash. Matter of fact, mine was on sale for 23,500 or so. Right now I am only paying 320 a month cuz I refinanced it and put down 4500 more to keep the payment short and low. Also went from 9% down to 4.25%. Hope this helps. And good luck!

They can always do a bit better than what they initially offer you. They usually offer you less than wholesale. You need to tell them you want wholesale.

1500.00 isn't terrible... can you afford to put 3k or so down so your still a bit ahead?

I'll try...what should i tell them about selling the car wholesale value. I look young and can't be taken seriously. In reality i'm 25 years old hahaha.

I found an untitled 09 RA on AUG 2010 for 19995, the dealer wanted to get rid of it. It was in excellent condition.

Made a loan on Pentagon Federal Credit Union @ 2.99% of the full price and I pay 350 for 5yrs.

It was so sweet the deal that after so many months I can't believe it.

Was it brand new??? If so, that's REALLY cheap!
