im working on it i think my o2 sensor went bad from running so rich all the time so im probably gonna be getting a new sensor soon also my tuner is working on my rom to see if theres something that needs to be adjusted within the tune

yeah i run fairly rich aswell. my exhuast tips have to get cleaned weekly or they dont have any shine to them just BLACK rings lol. But i do like the sound of the backfire when shifting every once and awhile

my exhaust tips turn black within a day or two after i clean them and yea mine backfires as well and even though it doesnt shoot fireballs i like the looks on peoples faces when it pops next to them lol

This whole time it was a faulty o2 sensor replaced it with a universal 4 wire o2 and everything is good now

If you don't mind me asking what was the exact sensor you used to fix the p0137? Do you have CBE or TBE?

it was the rear o2 after the cat and i have a TBE

i bought a bosch universal 4 wire o2 sensor bought it from a local parts store for 72$ i think it was

if the sensor is working you can find a mechanical fix i have the megan spacer thats a 90 degree elbow and it works fine

How easy is it to replace the sensor? I'm having the p0137 code come up now and of course I'm due for an inspection.

Its not hard at all, just unplug the sensor then unscrew. Do the opposite for the new one. Unplug it first, i watch someone just try to take it off first and he ripped the wires out of the back of it.

I checked it out this weekend and it looks easy enough. I assume the o2 sensor on the cat and the one on the downpipe are the same? It just matters where they plug into under the seat so the computer knows where the measurements are coming from? I'm getting P0137 and 2 counts of P0140. I guess bank 1 and bank 2 or however it reads multiple sensors. For $50 a pop on ebay I might as well replace both while I'm at it.
