What other cars did you look at before buying your RA?

WRX, Mazdaspeed 3, Golf, and some others not too seriously. I really wanted AWD and sporty for under $25k and didn't like the WRX styling, interior, and some of the reviews turned me off to it.

Civic SI .. main reason was the price...
WRX and MS3 was just too .... fugly...
If I need to choose again, maybe i would consider the 4dr WRX
Finally chose RA because its the closest thing I could get to an Evo .. (50k (CA$) for an Evo is just insane)

Was considering an WRX, MS3, Civic Si and a Golf GTI. Eliminated the MS3 and Si quickly, smiley face MS3 and no torque Si turned me off right quick. Then I got my job at Mitsu which made my decision for me. Not disappointed at all

Well I am sad to report that I almost became one of you guys today. Sad because I was all ready to buy the RA buuuuuuuut the salesman was a complete douche and well, let's just say after an hour dealing with that, I decided I'm going to look elsewhere.
I know it was just one salesman, but that really pissed me off and I didn't drive all the way to the only Mitsu dealership in a 100miles from me just to not buy the car I wanted thanks to an idiot.
Guess I better start researching new cars anyways.
You guys and your community have been awesome for information while I lurked. Thanks.
