ignition issue

So, I know this may come off as a stupid question, but I just bought an 09 Ralliart, and can only get the ignition to turn halfway between acc and off.

Any ideas?

Sometime my radio will go off, but my key fob won't work to unlock or lock the doors?

Does it say "Key not found" or something similar on the MID between the gauges when you're trying to do this? The key may have lost it's programming due to sharing a pocket with a cell phone or some other device that gives off radio frequency. If it's a FAST key, try taking it out of wherever it is and see if the car can pick it up that way.

No, it works sometimes, and it is the fast key.

The problem is, at random times it will turn all the way off, and most of the time it only turns about halfway between "ACC" and "OFF".

I'm not an idiot. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it for free.

Thanks for any input though.

No one called you an idiot. I've seen people have issues with that due to the fact that some older cars didn't require you to do so. Don't come on here, ask a question, and then act like a dick when someone gives you a suggestion.

Something like a crimp in the wiring in the ignition from the previous owner.
