Trying to figure out if I need this extension cable everyone is talking about. How long is the USB cable that comes with it? Also, what does this "adapter" do?
#36
I'd be down also. But does this come with the Mitsubishi Reflash Adapter also? Also the OBDII has a usb cable does that connect it to a laptop so i can do everything in the car? I'm assuming yes but I'd rather be sure lol

yes this is going through them, and it will be the newest version 2.0

I emailed tactrix that I have people interested so I should hopefully be receiving a call soon about payment and shipping and all that jazz.
So far we have 14 cables being purchased. I know that we just needed 10 for a discount but if we can get more than 25, the discount will be more so I will wait a little bit to see if anyone else is interested.
Also: There have been a lot of questions about the adapter, I have asked them and this was the response.
"Also do i need the mitsubishi adapter?" For your 2011 Lancer RA...no. For pre-CAN bus Mitsubishi vehicles (yes).
MITSUBISHI REFLASH CONNECTOR:
This connector is needed in conjunction with the Openport 2.0 if you wish to reflash pre-CAN Mitsubishi vehicles such as the Evo 5/6/7/8/9s. Other Mitsubishi vehicles include: Airtrek Turbo, Brilliance, Eclipse GS/GT/GSX, Galant, Lancer, Magna, Mirage, Montero Sport, Outlander, Pajero Sport.
^^^^^ will update this on 1st page also

Quick request for clarification: the "ODB-ii extension cable" goes between the car an the Tactrix, and makes it so you do not need to plug the Tactrix device into the car's ODB port directly. You don't generally require this cable, it just makes it easier if you're short of space under the dash.
The USB cable is a standard micro-to-pc USB cable that comes with a lot of smartphones for charging/synching. You need this to connect the Tactrix to your laptop for flashing. I don't know if the usb cable comes with the Tactrix but most people have a few lying around.
The extra cable I want (and I suspect most other people here do) is the ODB-ii extension cable.

That what I meant with making it longer, not the actual USB cable lol sorry for the confusion!

Also, I won't need any reflash connector. Just the Tactrix and ODB-ii extension.
Thanks for putting this together!
