I've seen quite a few threads about how fuel efficient the RA is (or isn't) but I'm wondering how quickly you've gone through a tank of gas? I think 180 miles is the quickest I've burned through a full tank and I know I could have gotten that number lower. It was fun driving it like I stole it.

 

I average 13.5 litres per 100km on my commutes, crawling through very heavy traffic. That's around 17.5 mpg; with an average speed of well under 20 mph.

I get around 330kms to a tank, which is 205 miles according to google. And I pay the equivalent of ~$6.20 a gallon. 11.5% of my income goes straight to fuel alone.

Quickest tank for me was 290 km (180 mi). She is a thirsty machine.

 

quickest tank ever for me so far was uhmmm... 150miles IIRC. had 100 on the trip odometer and a half tank of gas, when I decided to make a run up to Mountain High Ski Resort, which is about 50 miles from my house and all the gas stations are on either side of the mountains, none in between. Once I got into the mountains, the instant MPGs dropped to below 10MPG and never came back up. 2/3's of the way there, the first refuel warning came on. The second refuel warning (the one where you have to hold the info button to make it go away) came on about 2 miles from the nearest gas station.
