Test Pipe

Will a test pipe make my ralliart sound louder without replacing the stock muffler? simple question but im just curious

Not really. Just less restrictive than oem one.

gotcha! I have heard with a test pipe the car will run rich without a tune?? have you heard this?

Yes. Best think is download tune from cobb. Cause running a bigger downpipe will not run properly till it is tuned.

But test pipe and down pipe and catback u can go bigger tune

nope not really. you can hear the turbo a little more tho.

Just did this last week.

It's not much louder at all. (Which is exactly what I needed)

The smell of the fumes is an issue however... Didn't really research that. If you have your air on or heat it will blow the smell into your car when at a stop light etc...

Yeah, this is exactly the reason I would never do a test pipe when there are 100 cell CATS that will give you almost identical performance without the foul smell.
