09 AUDM Ralliart E85 lean condition
Hi all
I've had a problem with my 09 ralliart. It seems my fuel pump won't go into high voltage mode. It seems to have happened after I moved my battery to the boot.
YES I have changed out the FPR relay, I have a bunch of spares and none of them made a difference.
I have also swapped out with a different set of stock EVO X injectors and tried a couple of stock FPR's.
I upgraded to a DW300 from the stock fuel pump with an E85 sock filter.
Yes I have check the fuel pump assembly, the little cone filter was clean, I have also drilled the return hole to about 2mm.
So can anyone tell me if by moving the battery to the boot and using thick power cables from the battery back to the fusible link in the engine bay would that cause too much resistance for the power draw of my new DW300 fuel pump to go into high voltage mode?
IF yes then, would I suppose I would have to upgrade the wiring with the DW rewire kit? http://www.deatschwerks.com/products...ion-kit-detail
Here's a log of where I am at:

BLUE log is just after the DW300 is installed but before I cleaned up the battery install in the boot.
RED log is where I am now during the process of cleaning up the fueling of the DW300 (tuned by Beeble)
As the logs show everything is fine except that my AFR is around 13:XX on WOT. Car drives starts and idles fine, no CELs either.
I have had the logs verified on a Dyno Dynamics as well.
NOTE: I am sure I can hear solenoids clicking from under the dash as soon as I try to build some boost so that's why I am now leaning towards too much power draw from the pump and my stock wiring can't handle it.
NOTE: Yes I know that the AFR logs are still in gasoline mode but I am strictly using E85 only.
MODS:
Beeble E85 dual map
EVO X intercooler and pipes
GS 3 port
EVO X intake
Synapse DV
DW300 with UR install kit
Odyssey PC925MJT dry cell battery
Any thoughts or previous experiences?
Cheers in advance

Ok I have sorted this out.
It was tune related due to some confusion with some new parts and miscommunication.
Some small changes to the fuel maps and it's all good.
The ticking solenoid sound I figured out too, It was actually my 3 port that I mounted to the body of the car. You can actually hear it working as it vibrates through the cabin as you accelerate. I fixed this with a rubber pad to absorb the vibration and now I can't hear it.
Thanks people, and also always install a wideband when modding your engine!
