3mm spacer on the rear should make the trick, It has been done by Ralliart23 oin clubralliart.com

Ralliart23 says:
To run this setup i used 235/40/18 falken fk452's. i needed the stretch to gain that extra bit of clearance. this tire size is perfect by the way to anyone looking to run 9.5's.

As for clearance on the outside, the fronts stick out a bit, but they do clear without rub, this is without a spacer as im only running spacers in the rear. I read online on evil03's ralliart wheel fitment guide on evoM (if you dont know what im talking about just google "ralliart wheel fitment" and it should be the first link) that the rears would need a pull to make them fit, so i indeed rented a roller, and pulled the **** out of my rears, i got a good 10-15mm in clearance with the pull to find that it wasnt even necessary in the first place haha. With the 38 offset and a 3mm spacer, the rim would have cleared my rear fender without the pull. I pulled them beforehand because i didnt want to drive home with them rubbing like crazy if they did stick out a lot. NOTE: i am on sportline springs and got a good amount of camber in the rear from the drop which gave me more clearance. with stock suspension i would say that the setup is still easily attainable, but the pull would be necessary to be safe just like evil03's guide says.

Can someone chime in with their suggestions for a RA on Eibach Pro springs? What would be the widest tire that I can run comfortably without needing to roll fenders? I'm looking at 18x8 wheels with 225/45 or 245/40 but the latter is probably too wide for my set-up.

If anyone has the same set-up and can give some recommendations I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

A little sunken, very similar to stock wheels. No issues on 215-225 tires. FWIW, I ran stock 215's on an 18x8 and stretch was minimal

Confused but somewhat decided...

well after reading the whole sticky i seen on the first page that 18x8 with a +45 offset will work with a 235/40/18 tire... but i continue reading and read that depends on what brand tire you get... then there are talked about drops and stock heights rolling fenders... and thats whats kinda a bit confusing so heres what i've kinda came up with and found what i like...

I've found on discount tire Drag DR-34 is a 18x8 with a +47 offset i know thats only 2mm more which isn't much...

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=8&vid=019429

and then i'm thinking about putting a 235/40/18 Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=235

i have a 2011 WW RA.... Will this work with stock height and will i need spacers to make flush or are these gonna stick out? plan on leaving stock height for the time being since we get quite a bit of snow.

And if i do decide to drop the car a touch havn't looked into coilovers or springs yet will this setup still work or will a fender roll need be done?

sorry if i have reposted but i keep reading different stories and i figure i'll just add mine.

any help would be greatly appreciated
Lance

225 should fit without issue, you'd probably even be able to squeeze 235/40s without rolling your fenders, but 225s will be ok for sure. 245s and up you're going to need a roll (and eventually a wider wheel)

As mentioned to the other guy, 225s will fit without issue and you won't have to roll the rear fenders at all.

235 is hit or miss depending on the tire, though if you are going with the NT555, I believe they run a little narrow in comparison to some others, so a 235 should be ok, but I won't make any promises.

As far as how the wheel sits, it's going to be a bit sunken in, similar to the oem wheel position and will require spacers or a lower offset to bring it out more flush. Remember though, the more flush you get your wheel/tire combo the more likely you're going to have to have your rear fenders rolled to prevent tire damage

Does anybody know if a set of Motegi MR125's 18x8 or 18x9 would fit a stocky mcstock stock '10 Ralliart Sportback?

Thanks

If the bolt pattern is 5x120, no.

Anyone know how 245/45/17 on 17x8 + 38 (evo 9 bbs) would fit on a RA?

A little bubbly on the sidewalls, but otherwise it's a nice fit. Just needs a light fender roll in the rear.

For reference, I'm currently on 245/45/17 on a x8.5 +30 fitment and loving the aggressive look. The +38 on the x8 wheels would fit almost exactly between my setup and stock; roughly 20mm further out than stock

The bolt pattern is 5x114.3 with either +35 or +45 offset available

Xxr 522

Finally got my XXR 522 Installed. These are 18x9.5 +38 Chromium Black with Hankook Ventus V12 235/40/18. 3mm spacers and fender roll in the rear. Still waiting for my Sportlines` to arrive.

Thanks to evil03, ralliart23(clubralliart.com) and 03chi-town0Z from responding me all my annoying questions.

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here but I read the thread and if anyone could quickly answer this it would be much appreciated - just slightly confused.

I'm looking at getting the Evo X BBS wheels from someone here. Am I correct that the 235/40 with those wheels is the closest to the stock 215/45 and will not need a roll at stock height? Or will I need to roll regardless? Should I go with a smaller tire?

Compare any tire size you want here: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

I'd recommend rolling your rear fenders, just in case.

See post 196 and 200 here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...rtback-14.html
He's running the GSR wheels on the Eibach Pro-Kit, which is about the most conservative drop out there and still rolled the rears. You may be able to get away without, but why risk a set of tires over it?

I know there are other threads about running the BBS around somewhere, just cant find them atm.
