EVO VIII wheels and TPMS?

Hey guys,

I am planning to use a set of EVO VIII wheels with Blizzak snow tires that I already own on the Ralliart this winter, and I was wondering if I can take the tire pressure monitor transmitters out of the stock ralliart rims and place them in the EVO VIII wheels? I don't want to have a damn warning on my dash all winter if I don't have too... but I am not buying a new set of rims and tires for winter when I already have a set that will fit.

Thanks,

Keith

I know this... I also have read (not sure if true or not) that not all wheels have a good internal mounting location for the sensors and am wondering if the EVO VIII wheels will accept the sensors.

I don't think anyone in the RA forums has tried wheels from a VIII. You might get some answers in the EvoX forums. I'd say try it and let us know.

I have EVO VIII wheels, but I didn't try to switch out the TPMS. I ignore 90% of the instrumentation anyway, so TPMS light doesn't bother me.
