They work fine as long as you aren't lowered and/or loaded. Hitting deep bumps can make them rub a bit too.

I found a set of 205/55R-16 Blizzaks on 16x6.5 5-114 steel rims for $250 on Craigslist. Will these fit?

Look around for a deal with your local shops. I got one with mine and I'll be running 18" 215 snows on my stock (going to get new rims for the 225 summer tires I have on now) and priced it at about 700.
