Swift Springs wants your opinion

I have been speaking with someone at Swift Springs and they are curious what type of drop RA owners are looking for. Heres what they told me,
"We are now to have mild drops mainly because we go by the useable stroke in the shock but for this particular vehicle, we have some room to work with, so I am wondering if you had in mind what people might think is a good amount of a drop. We are currently looking at about an inch in the front and about half of an inch in the rear."
So with that said, whats your ideal drop? As far as when their springs are going to come out at that height, your looking at about a month.

So whats it gonna be guys, Swift says the springs they will release soon are 1in front, 1/2in back. Personally I am looking for a little more drop then that. Post what you would like, they want your opinion so they can make the springs YOU want!

Why not release mild and aggressive drop springs? A 1 inch and a 2 inch set like Teins h tech and s tech are.

Tommy, I think thats what they plan on doing. Thats why they are asking. They already have made a spring thats 1in front 1/2in back. They are saying they have much more room to work with and can give a more aggressive drop.

was going to suggest the same thing.

the front wheel gap is greater then the rear. something like this should level things out.

Sounds like everyone, including myself, is for the 1.5 front 1 back. I am going to let some more replies come in before I get back to Swift. Also, if you guys are concerned with spring rates and would like some stiffer springs, throw it in this thread. Anything concerning springs.

1.5 front and 1 back would probably be the best overall setup. this is almost the same drop that rrm claims (1.5/1.25), but the rrms seem to settle a bit deeper as they wear in. i personally love my rrms, but i think a true 1.5"/1" drop would be ideal for most.

i dont know that we have ever actually determined the stock spring rates on the ralliart (correct me if im wrong), but something a little bit stiffer would definitely be desired as well

and for the sake of going a bit off topic, would somebody please make us some upgraded oe style struts already!!!

Wow, u got ahold of someone at Swift! I emailed them 4 times and called twice in the last month and never got one reply

Anyways, my ideal drop I would prefer would be the 1.5" front and 1" or 1.25" rear when settled. In all the Evo X threads I've read, it seems like 90% or so of X owners suggest the Swift springs over any other brand. Damn I can't wait, I've been waiting for Swift to finally release springs for our car

haha. Well the spring I talked about in the first post, like I said is going to be out in about a month or less. They are just finishing up testing on it now.

Come on people, any opinion is better than none. This is a very unique opportunity to request springs from possibly the best spring company for your car. Like Brad said, all the Evo guys swear by them. If you are going to be happy with the 1in front 1/2in rear thats coming out soon, say it. Any and all info will help us get what we want.
I am also going to talk with him about a potential group buy...so if you are interested in that, tentatively until a price is set, lets make a list and I will throw that at him too.

i think 1.25" in the front and 1.5" in the rear would be preferred.. of course with some awesome spring rates to complement the stock struts
