Opinion on gold rims on my rotor glow

Hey everyone

I found some gold Oz Prodrive 18" I think they were called on craigslist. Still figuring out if the bolt pattern is for our cars but if they do fit, I may consider getting them, but wanted opinions from others first, cause I'm not 100% on gold rims for my car. Here's a pic of the rims:

^That is off the craigslist post.

Just in case a pic of my car is needed:

And a link to craigslist post:

I was deciding between black or bronze/gold. I know Gilbert (ie eeboh), the previous owner had some sick rims, I think were bronze, that looked good.

Dang, could you tell by the pic?? lol. Yeah i found out they won't fit. Oh well. I think I'd prefer more of a bronze then gold, like what eeboh had on when he owned the car.

I already found a buyer for my stock rims locally for 500. If i knew it was guaranteed sale I'd go buy rims i knew the 500 could replace.

I am sure you probably know this, but I wouldnt sell your stock wheels. A lot of guys on here have done that and have gone to trade in their cars and have been appraised much lower than if they had the stock wheels, they end up scrambling and having to buy a new set to trade the car. In some cases, dealers wont bother. Look at the Lancer GTS classified section, there was one guy in there that was doing that, had a pair of 1k rotas that he wanted to trade no money on top for stock wheels so he could trade in. Just my two cents.

I don't know...a lot of the time I wish I had an Octane Blue RA because I want gold wheels, but they just don't look right on Rotor Glow. They don't pop enough and clash with the chrome accents...Bronze looks too dark, and clashes slightly less, straight black makes the wheels disappear altogether, and gunmetal or whatever just looks like lots of brake dust. Silver or machined silver/black is the only thing that looks okay, but nothing spectacular.

It's hard being Rotor Glow If i were Octane Blue I'd have some 19" O.Z. Alleggeritas on it...
