Regular 08+ Lancer springs and shocks are interchangeable with the RA

As per here:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...e-amazing.html

Works swapped RA shocks to a non-RA Lancer and they fit and work just fine. So...really, once there's more options for suspension for the more common Lancers, there will be for us as well.

The irony is the non-RA Lancer owners are hoping to use the options we have, but reality is that the more common lancers may see more parts than we would.

Obviously the spring rates from a non-RA lancer would potentially be lower than an RA-specific kit...

the RA and Lancers are the same body... it would make sense if the shocks bolt on the same way...

now to the spec we need to compare part numbers!

What I'm most interested in is the different damper options...because they are more likely to release them for the "common" lancer which has greater volume than the RA

We can always pair a good damper with springs like Swift's...

I'm willing to bet that the regular lancers and the GTS (with it's "Sport Tuned" suspension) will have softer dampers than the RAs. The first thing I noticed when I test drove my RA was the suspension felt somewhere between a stock GTS and a stock MR Touring.

I'm not saying swap a GTS or DE/ES suspension in
I'm saying that since they are interchangeable, if the regular lancers have a wider variety of manufacturers building for that platform, we can benefit from it

yeah, but if you go with an adjustable strut like kyb's agx (if they ever show up) you can hopefully run it on the higher damper settings and achieve the results you desire

I'm looking to buy Teins for the ra and their website says they only have the basic for our car, but i want superstreets or the flex, which is available for the gts i believe.

Unless these places are just selling the regular lancer ones to us
