225 or 235 fit RA stock rims?

Will P225/45R18 or P235/45R18 fit our RA stock rims? im wondering because i would think wider tire + new rims.

I have 225/40 on my RA, and they work fine. I think 235/40 would be a bit too wide.

225/45 should be ok. 235/45 might cause problems. 235/40 may be ok.

NO - 225 is the widest you want to go on the stock 7" wide rims

225 40 is perfectly fine.

235 40 is way to wide. The rim is only so wide itself that the tire will get talled and skinnier then its designed to compensate, not to mention 40% of 235 is 4mm taller then 40% of 225 as it is, even before you factor in the added height from the width of the tire.

i ran 235s on a 7 inch rim before and had no problems...idk if they would rub on a ra though
