Ferodo DS2500 Brake Pads

Hi Guys,
I work for the exclusive importer and distributor of Ferodo Racing brake pads in North America. I would like to gauge purchase interest among Ralliart owners for Ferodo DS2500 brake pads.

As you probably know the DS2500 compound is extremely popular among Evo owners. It is a fantastic autoX and light track duty compound that can also be used on the street. They do have some dust and can squeal a little at times, but their performance is outstanding, and they are a sizable step above the other options available in the Ralliart market at this time. You can see more info at the bottom of this page.

For reference, pricing for the Lancer Evo IX is as follows. I would expect the Ralliart pads to be a bit cheaper, but lets assume for the time being that the prices will be similar.
Front=$240
Rear=$107

Please vote in the poll to help me decide if we should have Ferodo make them or not. If you don't think you'd buy them, please post a remark as to why (too dusty, too expensive, etc.).

Thanks.

Well I'm definitely hoping the prices will be cheaper than what's offered on the Evo 9; they come with Brembos. If you currently make pads for the second generation DSM, then the prices will closely match that for the Ralliart. We've just got basic 2 piston calipers.

But honestly, we need more options. This seems to be what I'm looking for. I autocross, and I'd like to do a couple open track days this coming Spring and Summer.

I've run DS2500's on my last car and they were great.
Alot of spirited street driving as well as a track day and they never missed a beat.
Would definately recommend these to anyone looking for a good all round pad.
Note: as mentioned by OP, these aren't for heavy track usage, but for the weekend warrior these are a good option.

Why did I read that post with a British accent?

I would need to know more about the pads before I know how to vote on this poll. Let me do some research, and I'll get back to you.

It was our logo's fault! Actually, my primary contact at Ferodo is British (living in Italy), so you must have sensed that somehow...weird.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Keep it coming.

*** You already have the front pads. They are the same pads for the Evo IV or Outlander part num is FCP765H, FMSI D530, cross reference Hawks HB214.x618 just check your site and you will find it, it took me some time searching webs sites but finally i found it. The price is $135 and here in PR we already make a order and hopefully we will get it by next week. The ones that we need are the rear ones. Thanks!!!!

This is indeed correct...confirmed by Ferodo...thank you very much! I need to add the 2009+ Lancer Ralliart to our vehicle listings. We have a couple of the front sets on the shelf, and they are extremely inexpensive for what you get with these pads: FCP765H

If anyone is tracking their car with race tires, etc., we also have Ferodo's full range of race compounds in this front shape:

I'm not sure when the rears will be available in DS2500, but the front DS2500 can be paired up with a wide variety of rear pads. As long as the rears aren't an ultra-high mu race compound (which you'll doubtfully find anyway), you will be fine. If you are unsure, feel free to PM or email me. Due to the drivetrain layout, the front brakes on this car handle the bulk of the load anyway.

I'm going to go ahead and get the DS2500 pads for the front now, but I will be anxiously awaiting the rear pads as well. There seem to be several companies that have pads for the front, but not for the rear. I would really prefer to have the same pads on all 4 corners, even though the front is doing most of the work.
