I told you to drive my car when I picked up the tires, you want to do that just to compare?

The Ralliart has mechanical power steering, the Lancer DE and ES have electric PS.

Here's a though...

Would having the steering wheel offset to one side or the other have an effect on my steering issue? My thought is since the car does drive in a straight line, my steering wheel is off to the right a little bit, so when I straighten it up it veers to the left. So, I'm thinking maybe that has something to do with it? Otherwise, I'm at a loss. All of my alignment specs are within the factory limits.

Yeah the steering wheel beng off will through off your steering. It is SOP to straighten the wheel when you do an alignment. I don't know why they didn't do that, might have something to do with steering sensors for the electronic nannies or some other BS.

I have a feeling they centered the wheel based on the Mitsu logo on the airbag, which is actually not centered properly. I have to take the airbag off and find out why though. If the steering wheel is properly centered, the top diamond points about 5-8 degrees to the left. Odd, I know.

Update...

Had the steering wheel alignment fixed and they readjusted the actual toe angle in the front, seems to be much better. It's not perfect but better than it was. Until my steering craps out on me, I'll be fine with it.
