I'm pretty sure the upper pipe is the only pipe that needs to replaced.

IF! you get the Evo X intercooler, and you require the Evo X pipes, then that means you can also get HKS pipes for the Evo X and have them installed in the Ralliart? am I right? unless the intake from the turbo to the upper pipe is a bigger diameter (which i think it is)....
Well on the stock evo x upper pipe there is a down downsizing pipe which fit perfect to the ra turbo so i would think it shouldn't be an issue. Now don't quote me on it I've never tried it so don't go buying stuff just from my post however i can tell you the evo x upper pipe fits no problem and looks stock. Maybe i'll test it if i can find an evo x around with the HKS pipe any takers?

Whatever pipe you use will need to reduce down to the stock turbo outlet size. We use a 1.80mm to 2.5mm silicone reducer for our upper pipe. This gives us the longest 2.5" section possible.

Thanks,

Michael

Is the diameter on outlets for the EVO X and RA FMIC the same? 2.5?

Nope. They're different; Evo X seems to be 2.5 and RA 2.0 or Evo 3.0 and RA 2.5; I didn't measure but I'll get the right numbers and update my post:

I installed an Evo X FMCI on my Ralliart yesterday Evo X OE Intercooler Installed on 2009 Ralliart

So If I were to put a evo X FMIC in my RA would I need a tune afterwards? I was told no.

No. You are not adjusting your air/fuel ratio so one is not required. (but recommended after the full piping swap to get the most out of it).
