Exhaust suggestions
Alright people. I need help with choosing my new exhaust.
These are things I'm looking for:
1. real deep when idling, badass beefy growl when .... you know
2. not too loud but louder than stock ones (i don't want no cop magnet)
3. dual exhaust tip
4. not too expensive
Please let me know the brand/name of it.. something that you can tell apart from those crappy ones on the streetz..
much appreciated

My buddy with a Legacy GT did a cool dual exhaust set-up.
Starting with 3" pipe from the downpipe. On one side, he went with a Magna flow muffler. The other side was just a straight pipe but he put an electronically controlled butterfly inline. When he wants the noise and flow, he leaves it open. When he sees a cop, he closes it.
We've also put the butterfly on 3.5" APS systems. Works great at silencing the noise when you dont want it:

Get the CP-E setup. To avoid noise just shift as high as can maintain speed.
But when its time to rock it bathes the people behind you with screaming heavy metal and bass. Harley guys like riding next to me and then givin it some gas to tame my cruising exhaust note. Then I drop down one and give them a taste of the beast. Same stunned look on their face every time.

Thats timid sounding compared to mine. bout 1000n bucks for full 3" turbo back. Added about 30hp at 6000rpms. Motor feels free and wants to rev. Ive had the exhaust for over 6 months now and everyday I get in I cant get over how beast it sounds. Its all about having dual mufflers. Thats how you avoid the rice fart can sound. Dual mufflers give you that power chord, adds depth and bass to the tone. Bietches love riding in the back seat.
SRT8 boys always do a double take when they hear me coming and I can completely drown out a harley under full throttle.
A cop did pull me over and asked me why it was so loud. I just told him it was a 2009 rally model. No ticket. Not even a warning.
The singel exit from AMS sounds horrible. Rice all the way. It also flags the car as boy racing. The only thing its got going for it is its slightly lighter but nothing you could quantify.
