Everything it needs for normal operation is taken from the OBDII port. There's not an easier to install device out there.

Little more details.
The Zeitronix DashDAQ offered by RRM and TTP already includes Zeitronix license to read the Zt-2 parameters. So you get performance data from the Zt-2 such as , Wideband AFR and Lambda, EGT, Boost, Vacuum, TPS, RPM and 0-5V input. The optional cable to connect to the Zt-2 is also included and already setup for a plug and play. You still get all OBDII parameters. The DashDAQ powers from the OBDII port so installation is quicker than you can say "blueberry pie". I think I can spill beans to say that upcoming version of DashDAQ firmware includes Mitsubishi specific drivers so you can display/log a knock sum. This makes it a great display/tuning device. You can save logs on a flash card. There is a very special DashDAQ with the Zt-2 wideband package pricing. GPS navigation with turn by turn directions is optional.
