I'm now tuned by TTP!

I just installed my tune today from TTP. You can notice the smaller HP gains at lower RPMs, but the higher RPMs is where the tune really shines. Now my car keeps pulling until redline instead of kinda dying off. I would highly recommend it! The auto-transmission handles the increase in HP without any problems at all. It hooks up solidly with every gear change. There is also a little bit more turbo whistle with the increase in boost I have no AWD dyno in my area to show you the increases in HP and torque though.

There are 2 within 70 minutes of you.

Vex and Lightspeed innovations are both in red deer and both have all wheel dynos.

I'll have to check one of those guys out.
I'm thinking about getting the UR aftercooler. Maybe I'll drive down there once I install it!

you mean ur intercooler?

our air is cooled after its taken in, but prior to going into the manifold, thus its called inter cooler lol.

and if you get the UR intercooler (which id suggest waiting on) make sure you get the Upper intercooler pipe first.

I have the UR catback, UR shortram intake, UR upper pipe, and a custom tune at lightspeed. Intercooler is next.

Technically speaking, intercoolers are only used between TWO turbos or superchargers.

AFTERcooler = after the compression
INTERcooler = between 2 (or more) turbos/superchargers
http://www.answers.com/topic/intercooler <--- that should explain things better

Anyways...
Maybe I'll hold off on that because I dont really wanna go spending extra $ on piping.

although 30 years ago you would be correct, the term used by standard today is intercooler.

since the late 80's the definition changed.

i.e any jdm vehicle lists as intercooled. The new more current setup and name means that the air is cooled in the line on the way to the manifold, intercooled. But yes, technically you were right once upon a time.

secondchace: I know, I'm just being a bugger I rebuild diesel engines for a living, and the only term we use is "aftercooler", so I'm just used to saying it all the time.
