aye... I hear mine 50% louder then before, and after I got the bigger fmic and AMS pipe, there's lots of turbine spool sound under the hood, I could hear it even with the radio on at mid-level volume 
plus I think AMS recommended to upgrade to the metal cuz the plastic one tends to be leaky (maybe after you're raise boost?)

edit: which valve is it, i dont see it on ams sight now.

EVO 8 MR BOVis metal, the regular evo 8's have plastic one like ours.
if it is a VTA BOV it is not going to work well
is this a good one to get and would it be a simple bolt on?
