Ralliart and Evo X...same ECU?

Do they have the same ECU, just programmed different?

Kinda curious as to how hard it would be to upgrade to an Evo X aftermarket turbo system, such as a gt35r kit.

All I can see that is needed in addition to the turbo kit would be:
- aftercooler and piping
- intake
- possible exhaust adjustment
- tune or ecu

I might wanna create a sleeper Ralliart one day

i think the aftercooler and piping are the same as ours. AMS never stated they needed to change the intake or exhaust when they did a swap..

Ok, I guess you need my input here since I have the Evo X turbo =] Upper intercooler pipe is different, lower isnt. This is what all you'll need:

Turbo, Manifold, Oil Lines, intercooler, upper and lower pipe, O2 housing, Air inlet pipe (metal piece the intake hooks up to, Evo X intake of some kind, turbo to manifold gasket, turbo to O2 housing gasket, and i believe thats everything.

If anyones looking to upgrade to a stock evo x turbo I'm looking to sell mine =]

I'm guessing you had to re-tune the ECU to the stock Evo X maps?

So I would need...
- Turbo
- Exhaust manifold
- Oil feed and drain lines (what about water lines?)
- Intercooler
- Upper and lower IC piping
- O2 housing + gasket (what is this?)
- Air inlet pipe (is this an adapter that bolts on to the throttle body or turbo compressor?)
- Turbo gasket

Correct?

I'm not sure which is which on the oil and coolant lines, I know theres an oil drain line but I never did find an oil feed. Your O2 housing is the part that bols to your turbo that starts your exhaust. You Air inlet pipe is a metal piece that bolts to the turbo that your intake attaachs to.

I've been running mine without a tune so far and its running like stock. I'm fixing to go to Dyno4Mance in calhoun, GA to get it tuned.

So the air inlet pipe is basically an aluminum elbow...I think I know what your talking about.

That O2 housing is confusing though...is it on the turbine inlet or outlet?

Are you running the Ralliart exhaust, X exhaust, or an aftermarket?
