2009 Lancer Ralliart - GST Basemap
#2311
I flashed back to V2.5 for a bit this morning so I could do a comparison with the same temp and atmospheric conditions. Here is the Virtual Dyno Graph comparison of V2.5vsV2.7 for my car. I also attached the logs of the comparison as well as some more V2.7 WOT logs. As you can see not much change in max #'s (which I know wasnt the goal of V2.7) but the torque hits a little sooner and the drivability is much nicer.
On a side note I have noticed much better freeway mileage with V2.7. I decided to test it based on previous tests I have done with the stock map and V2.5 I set cruise control at 70 for 50miles on the freeway and averaged 30mpg. Granted that is based on the cars calculated avg mpg, which I know isnt 100% acccurate, but much better than when I did that same test with stock map (25mpg) and even a little better than V2.5 (27mpg). Now my around town mileage is worse, but I think that is just me going WOT too often!

Hey Bryan,
One of your base map's has MAF scalings for the AEM intake correct? Could you email me that one, I'm interested to see what you have (compare and contrast)

Quick question, since they say the catalytic converter is the biggest restriction on the exhaust system, if we just installed a HFC, could we use the TBE basemap, or do you need the downpipe and exhaust? I'm not looking for a loud exhaust, but would like to increase performance if that is possible. Thanks.

Here is a quick VD graph of the run I just did. This was with at about 100lbs of subs in the back, and a freshly filled tank of gas, plus myself, and I'm not a small guy. Overall I'm very impressed with these basemaps. The shifting feels wonderful. The car is holding power to redline. I mean wow. Very impressed.
I need to get EvoScan setup to log perfectly as I had a few issues with some parameters and setting up on the CarPC is a pain. Expect to see some log uploads from me late tonight or tomorrow.
