What's the diffrences in the SST side as far as Beta 2.7 and Final? Just Smoother or more performance side out of it?

Can't wait to see a 1/4 mile time and a dyno run. Big thanks to Rich and Bryan.

Is the gstmotorsports boost pill the same for every model? I googled it and couldn't find a specific one for the ralliart. Cheers

I just typed in boost pill in the site's search and it came up. Seems like the item is in the EvoVIII or IX section. But I believe they're all the same.

Just been having fun with the new flash of 2.7!

it made me feel like i was driving a different car, it made it more responsive off the line and smoother through shifts. I didn't have a problem with it having a rough idle though! Overall fantastical!!

I appreciate all your work Razor, and I'm sure everyone else does as well! I almost feel like I'm stealing with this being free =P. I'm definitely donating to ya next paycheck unless i spring for a complete turbo assembly from an Evo X lol.

From memory, the torque/clutch-pressure/witchcraft stuff got increased too. So yes, more performance... less clutch slip means more torque to the ground!

But are you saying it did have a rough idle, or it didn't? Not sure...

Glad you're enjoying it. Ralliarts should have come from the factory this way! Actually, no, because then we wouldn't have had all this geeky fun "un-de-tuning" it with a laptop...

even though im not the one doing the tuning, it is fun to plug in a computer to a car and 5 minutes later have it a totally different attitude! I much prefer doing it that way rather than the car coming that way =P dorky no, schweet? HELL YEA!!
there is no better feeling than doing something with an awesome outcome!

except the way this car makes me feel

I'm actually curious as to why they don't. For a relatively small additional cost for a for the tighter turbo exhaust pill (or whatever the official name is besides "boost"), and no charge for the basemap (not to mention the proper tools to author the basemaps) - you would think they would add HP so they could charge more.

I would say its for MPG but I haven't really lost any with these maps from stock (so long as I keep my lead foot off the gas).

It's also obnoxious they aren't tuned for 91 oct. 93 isn't available in many places in the US anymore.

I know CA Ralliarts are de-tuned so they'll pass smog, but that doesn't explain why they are de-tuned everywhere.

Anyway - just installed 2.7 and holy crap! Huge difference from even the beta 2.7! Thanks so much for this guys! I wish had done a few more beta runs for ya, but I could never find time (plus traffic / police make it very hard to do real tests)

I guess it was "de-tuned" to better align engine torque output to the cost-cutting elsewhere in the package...
  • Small brakes.
  • No oil cooler at all.
  • Small turbo.
  • Intercooler the size of a Chicken McNugget.

There are no such thing as "CA" Mitsubishis anymore. All the RA's in CA have the same factory ROM as all the other USDM RA's.
