Razorlab, (or anyone else who may know)
My ROM ID is 53600013, would flashing v27 53600009 be okay? I used 53600010 XML to read my ECU and, with Rich's help, determined there are some minor differences. I just want to make sure flashing 53600009 to 53600013 will be fine. If you can think of any problems that may arise please inform Rich and I so we can work on making small tweaks, then if you like you could publish that ROM ID as well; although it appears it is one of the more rare ROM IDs but perhaps could be helpful to other people in the future.
Thanks!
Derik

Hello, everyone. I am new to the forum. I have a 2011 lancer ralliart and have recently installed a boost pill and the V2.7 flash. I have been noticing some shift lag, almost like the clutch isnt catching in the lower gears when WOT. Has anyone else experienced this? Any Suggestions? Again I am new to tuning. Thanks.

Welcome!
Mine will feel a bit like that when I'm using approx. 50% to 80% throttle. Sort of like the ECU isn't fussed at making a snappy upshift because I'm not at wide-open throttle.
But at WOT it feels pretty snappy.
First gear does feel like the upshift is a bit more "cautious", if you like. It's not like I can wait for the tacho to hit 7200 before selecting next gear, or I'll bounce off the rev limiter every time! It's probably a combination of the revs rising so fast and the SST taking a little longer to switch 1st to 2nd.
SPORT mode makes for sharper shifts. NORMAL mode feel sloppy at times.
Waiting for the trans to get up to temperature helps too - it can take over 20 minutes for SST temp to get over 60C... and that's in Australian weather conditions.

Thanks for the reply Rich. I didnt really explain it that well. When I shift from 1st to second and even second to third, sometimes the rpms don't go down. like if i shift at 4,000 rpm when it enters second it will stay at 4,000 rpm. Have you heard of that before?

The car still accelerates, though, correct? Feels like a "riding the clutch" sort of thing?
It's NOT like you get "locked" at 4000rpm, neither accelerating nor completing the shift... NOT like that, right?
What mode(s) do you use? I honestly wouldn't expect miracles in NORMAL/AUTO mode. Mine can certainly meander between the gears in NORMAL when driven hard.
Even in SPORT mode, if it's the first one or two blasts it doesn't feel as sharp as subsequent ones. Clutches and fluid like the "right" amount of heat in them, I guess.
