Heh. I'm still trying to get my own car running knock-free at the track. There's a really big difference between doing general ROM work and actually tuning an engine properly.

Done.

Original post with d/l link is here.

That zipfile should now contain the ROM you're after.

A series of Knocking

Hi, just starting to log my car for the first time during my way to work this morning, there is only a few knocks here and there, I even did a 5000rpm pull with 4th gear and there is only one knock, then I noticed this series of knocking (Green line) at 25mph and low rpm, up to 13 knocks that taper down.

I normally drive in Normal manuel mode, I am currently with the GST 2.7 (boost pill) 91 octane, shell 91, boost pill, K&N drop-in and HKS catback as mod.

Can anyone tell me why is this happening? Should I be worry?

Did you log coolant temp? How long was this log taken after starting the car and on the way to work?

I didn't log my coolant temp, but I would guess they were low, since this happen 6 mins after I start the car and it was -1C (30F) degree outside.

Rich
Thank you. Thank you. I just loaded it. I'll do some runs tomorrow and see how she performs

For those of you who have been trialling the "Balance #16" SST tune beta...

What do you think? Is it Worthy? Should we apply to all supported tune variants and release this as the new official Base Map?

I guess the question is, having driven around on "Balance #16", would you go back to the original v27 SST tune?

It is very worthy IMO. Im loving its smoothness and rev matching. I dont have the option to return to v27 SST tune as the 2011's had problems with that tune which caused the revisions in the first place

Had the chance to take the RA out today, I'm still using Balance 15 and it's been great so far. I'll flash Balance 16 this weekend after I install my new UR exhaust.
