Catback fine.

Intake no.

The intake skews the MAF signal a bunch and the car will run too lean most likely.

Like Bryan said but you should be tuned already if you are using an intake. No sense getting a base flash. If you are not tuned then u might have some problems in the future.

I have a bit of confusion here. The Tactrix cable specs show no MAC/OX support.

Has anyone installed the GST basemap using a Macbook?
I see the link for the drivers but ...

Bryan?

I didn't want to risk it, I just used my old laptop. Mac doesn't tune cars. You might be able to run windows off mac then tune it though. I did that before.

Griffin5, I've been running this basemap for a while now mate. Like yourself, I was very hesitant to try it at first. Try it out and you will wish that you had tried it out earlier. The car is more responsive and you will get better mileage.

Cheers mate.

Sweet, thanks for the info docjuwe, I'm glad someone down here has got it up and running successfully. I'll go ahead and order the cable, although I use 98 RON so I'll wait till the 93 Octane Aussie basemaps are available before taking the plunge.

Happy thanks giving to you Bryan and the rest of the community. You guys are awesome!

I want to clarify something, with a tactrix cable and a laptop you can log your AFR, Knock etc or will you need to have a wideband

You need a wideband to log AFR. Knock, etc you can log via EvoScan.

If you want to log AFR with your Tactrix cable, you need a wideband.

Most other things you can log with your Tactrix cable alone.
