I noticed on my current ROM BoostPILL_93oct_V30.007 that Lean Spool is Enabled (Bit 0 =1)
Reading discussions and comments from Golden, Brian and Richard all suggest disabling Lean Spool if you want to tune AFR.
Is just setting the bit to 0 sufficient or do I then have to make adjustments to the Fuel Map to compensate since now Lean Spool would not be affecting my fuel ratios ?

If you're interested, I've got a simple spreadsheet calculator that converts "High Octane Fuel Map + LeanSpool" into an equivalent HOFM without LeanSpool. You just copy/paste the HOFM of your choice into the thing. Use at your own risk. pm me your email address, and I'll send it your way.

Thanks
Richard thanks for the Lean Spool info. PM Sent
Is this the correct place to ask questions about how to tune using these Base Maps as a starting point or is there a Base Maps Advanced thread somewhere ?
Question about the Rear 02 disable. It was my understanding that on the TBE maps the Rear 02 was disabled yet when I look at ECU Option Set 2 bit 1 it is still set to 1
Am I looking in the wrong place or am I misunderstanding something ?

Ok so I searched this thread and have a slight question.
On the USDM 2012 RA Boost Pill map and I'm sure others, the Rev Limiter is set to 7396 RPM. I guess my biggest question is here is:
Does this turbo breathe all the way to almost 7400 RPM and is there power to be made that far up with the stock cams? I've never really let the car rev that high cept for a couple instances where I wasn't paying attention. The couple times it did rev that high, it didn't feel like the car was making power. I've looked at the initial dyno runs on the first page and noticed that they only really run to like 6500ish and the power appears to drop off there.
Please help me understand this....
