GST Base Maps RE-POSTED - including USDM 2013 TBE and TBE+AEM
Hi folks.
Seeing as it's September 2014, I'm just going ahead with putting these 2013 maps up here now.
This zip includes the TBE and TBE+AEM ROMs.
2014 USDM Ralliarts seem to still come with the same "5957XXXX" ROM ID as the 2013s, so this set of Base Maps should cover USDM 2014 too.
GST Base Maps v31.003 2009 to 2013 ZIP
Here's a little log for me to update as time goes by. Starting it now, in anticipation of progress on the Air/Fuel testing front... please... pretty please...
16th September 2014
Posted up 2009-2013 Base Maps.
No test results posted yet of air/fuel ratios using the USDM 2013 "TBE" and "TBE+AEM" maps. Wideband logs of a 3rd gear pull on these maps would be appreciated.
Enjoy! Take care! Be safe!
Rich

As a post-script to the above...
If you're running our small-turbo'd Ralliart hard, with a turbo-back exhaust and a fair amount of boost at the top end, you should seriously consider the following safety tips:
1) Log your ECU data. Get to understand how to log, how to read logs, what things like knocksum, boost, fuel trims and manifold air temp mean in terms of engine safety.
2) Install a wideband oxygen sensor. One that sends data to your laptop for logging (or direct to the Tactrix OP2.0 for standalone logging). A gauge to eyeball is good for safety too.
Watch your air/fuel ratios at peak boost. On the TBE tunes, you'll want to see AFR of low elevens to high tens at peak boost. On the regular boostpill tunes, high tens to low tens at peak boost.
3) Upgrade that useless factory intercooler. Get at least an Evolution X FMIC on the car instead.
4) Understand that the GST Base Map is a street tune, not a track tune. Track driving involves a lot of time at high rpm, peak boost. Not ideal on a car that uses a small turbo! If you want to get into motorsport, get a custom tune by someone who knows Ralliarts, and knows track tuning.
I hope that helps, folks.
Cheers,
Rich

richard, should we be using the RAX patch on your v3? ie (RAX Fast Logging - Rev E EVOX) as i logged the 56950006 nopill basemap using (Mode23 JP/EU/AU EVOX) and got some stupid figures like a knocksum of 30 at idle. (no, no noticeable knock noise, even at WOT.)
i uploaded the basemap with def file 59650006 2011 EDM lancer ralliart SST
got me bamboozled
thanks in advance for any assistance.
its a friends 2011 RA btw, not my 09

Older versions don't.
So if you're using v31, yes, switch EvoScan to RAX Fast Logging mode.

Hi,
Is there a difference in GST maps of 2010 and 2011 for RA?
I bought my car in 2011 by a dealer. But it might be fabricated in 2010.
Can anyone tell me how I can find out which maps to select?

To all comers, see the post after it for extra safety tips.
Just download and test. You should be good to go. Looking for data logged in EvoScan using RAX Fast Logging, including AFR, from a 3rd gear pull: WOT @ 2000rpm, SPORT mode.
Best of luck.
