I found out that my car is running the 55590011 ROM by using Open ECU. From doing some research, I've found that this ROM enables the flash counter on the ECU, and there are no definitions for it on the goldenevo site.

Has anyone had any luck flashing a GST basemap to this rom? I'd rather err on the safe side than brick my ECU.

Disregard - i used the closest version to my year and flashed the GST basemap just fine. Definitely feels snappier, going to wait a day to install the boost pill!

Has anyone made one of these for a stock basemap using a 3-port instead of a boost pill?

No, but it's not actually that hard to put together yourself, if you want to get into that sort of thing.

I posted a thread way back when, that explained my approach to boost tuning. While some of the logging/tuning tools have moved on since then, 99% of it is still very relevant:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...st-levels.html

I doubt there will ever be 3-port versions of the base maps, because it would be a massive (and wholly unnecessary) multiplier of map iterations. And not all 3-ports would be the same - there are all kinds of spring strengths, 3-port styles, etc. out there.

For example, I'm running 14 psi spring on mine now, so my BWGDC tables would be dangerous for someone running an 18 psi spring, and way too low for 11 psi spring.

Hope that helps!

Rich

You can run tephraMod with the stock boost solenoid and upgraded boost pill no problem. Just have to tune the two different boost maps.

I have a 2010 Ralliart tuned with the 93 Oct Stock RA + BoostPill upgrade + TBE, I have a check engine light and I'm trying to pass inspection in Texas but I can't figure out how to turn off readiness and remove that pesky little light. Anybody know how to do this or can point me in the right direction? Much appreciated!

Easiest way is throw your stock cat back on and flash to the basemap that doesn't need a TBE to get you to pass emissions and then just go back after.

Yeah I of course considered that but I'd prefer to have a more permanent solution. Plus that way if it trips a real code I'll actually know

Get a high flow cat with an extended bung.

If the CEL is always on for the rear o2 sensor, then if something ELSE goes wrong, you wouldn't be able to tell because the CEL was already on. Otherwise you'd have to keep pulling the code every day to make sure no new codes were being tripped.

Anyway if anyone reading this later on was interested in a non-stupid answer, I figured out the solution

In your tune XML go to the table "ECU Options Set 2" and change Bit 1 (disable rear o2 sensor) from 1 to 0. You may have to go to the options first and change user level to developer, which will allow you to edit the tables. This will disable readiness and allow you to pass in Texas and many other states with annoying emissions tests.

I have no more Service Engine Soon light! Yay! Also btw this is on a 2010 Ralliart 93 octane BoostPill + TBE, so I'm not certain if it's the same for other cars/tunes.

Edit: btw I drove for probably about 4 hours (including highway driving, hard accel and idling) since making this change and it hasn't come back. I'll update if anything changes but I don't see why it would.
