You can still run the basemap with those three things, no problem.

Fixed the link to the 2009 USDM/CADM - 93 oct - BoostPill - V3.1 rom.

There was a typo.
It now works again.

So I was just reading the "will this mod work with this map" thread, and noticed it said you shouldn't even mess with different drop in filters without a tune. I'm currently running the 2009 91oct boost pill map, is it safe to use with a k&n high flow drop in, or should I switch back to an oem filter?

I am running a K&N drop in with the boost pill 93 oct basemap. Before the K&N I could see a considerable amount of black smoke upon acceleration. With K&N it is perfect. Also installed a wideband, AFR's are 11.5-11.7 through the whole RPM range at WOT. I have been running this way for 6 months now with no issues at all.

I'm running on that tune a K&N filter without problems either.

I am about to fit a test pipe to my 2009, I am already running the "2009 AUS/EDM - 98 ron - BoostPill - V3.1"

However there is no AUS/EDM Stock RA + BoostPill upgrade + TBE map for me...

Would be ok to just compare the maps in ECUflash & transfer the tables?

Ok, bit the bullet with no replys and copied over the tables and it works flawlessly. Logs looking real good with only small amount of knock counts (Value of 1 which appears to be not present across all logs)

Further update - It was cold this morning (~2c) and it seems I hit boost cut, checking my logs from the other day:
LOAD RPM
257.8125 4476.5625
259.375 4609.375
259.375 4687.5
257.8125 4757.8125

Boost limit @ 4500 = 260
Boost limit @ 5000 = 256

I'ts quite possible I exceeded these this morning however I have no logs (Driving home from work).

Yeah, it would be a good idea to fine-tune your BWGDC (Base WasteGate Duty Cycle) tables, to try and avoid exceeding boost targets.

Well i've been logging it some more & I am hitting 22.5PSI @ 4k RPM which the map is requesting correctly, at this I am hitting a load around 260 - 265 @ 10 degrees outside.

There is a WGDCCorr of 9 at that point but no sign of overboosting - Does the ECU learn this value and store it?

The car runs smooth, 0 Knock counts also.

All sounds good, but perhaps the issue is more to do with going WOT at different rpm points. Have a good read here...
