2009 Lancer Ralliart - GST Basemap

In a nutshell, that thread explains how the BWGDC table should allow going WOT at any rpm without overboosting. It's one thing to have a pretty boost curve when you go WOT at 2000rpm for a "typical pull"... but in the real world, we never drive like that.
That thread also covers how the ECU's error correction capability isn't useful in any capacity for "fixing" the initial boost peak after WOT; that boost peak is solely driven by the Base WGDC table. Error correction is useful after that, for fine-tuning.
So focus all your efforts on tuning BWGDC table via WOTs at different rpm points, I reckon.

I am trying to install basemap on my RA and running in to issues when saving my local rom. I've placed the XMLs under the lancer folder as the xmls were already loaded under the evo folder by default so they are in both locations now. once the read from ecu process finishes i get an unkown rom error and get 3 options. i used the can save but not edit or view as i wasnt sure. I tried to open the file later in ecu flash and recieved the same message. I uploaded the srf to goldenevo for a rom check but got FFFFffff which i dont think is right. Any help on what to do?
update:
So i opened the file using the create wizard option and did a inherit from definition files against the 2009 53600010 usdm ra file and it shows address in hex as 5002a and 53600016 for the identifier.
I think i read about some saying to open one of the xmls from goldenevo and look for the identifier and then put your identifier in there and rename the file? there is a xmlid and internalidhex but not sure if this is right and want to ask before i do anything.
Or is there a 53600016 xml out there already?

I don't think "53600016" has had its definitions worked out yet.
You can make a "dummy" XML, containing just this:
That will give EcuFlash just enough info to allow you to reflash that image back to the vehicle, should you ever need to revert.
Cheers,
Rich

I hope this is a good topic so I will write here.
I wanted to improve my Sportback Ralliart. I already have an OEM BOV with Lancer EVO X. In Poland, however, I can not buy boost pills, only available in the US. I want to make a boost pill myself.
Now I have a question: can you give me the exact dimensions of the boost pill.
I compared some photos and got these dimensions.
Height 7 mm, cross section 5.5 mm and hole 0.8 mm.
Is this correct?
I want to upload a new map to the ECU. Will this be appropriate "2009 AUS/EDM - 98 ron - BoostPill - V3.1? In Poland I am fueling 98 octane fuel.

What I mean is the annoying feature that these cars have. If the car is moving the gas pedal will be disabled if the brake pedal is pressed at the same time. I know that there is a thread about this for EVOX that if you change a hex code in a specific location it will turn off that feature. But wanted to know if someone already managed to accomplish it on the RA.

That is launch control not brake boosting. I'm not interested on modding my SST.

Hi guys, I've been watching this thread since 2012 when I got my ralliart. I'm thinking of going ahead with this but I have 2 questions.
The first is the tactrix cable. Is there a place I can find just the cable itself? The link in the first post shows a cable plus software and costs like $180. That's not the right one is it?
The other thing is the openecu software. The link doesn't work for me, and their website has a lot of different stuff. Could someone point me to the correct software that I need?

Hey man use this link to buy a tactrix cable : http://www.tactrix.com/index.php?pag...mart&Itemid=53 make sure to get the mitsubishi adapter.
Then for the software its called ECU FLASH and is 100% free here : https://www.tactrix.com/index.php?op...out=blog&id=36
Thats all u need to do the reflash and imo you should get the AMS boost pill (look on amazon or ebay) because without it the 180$ for the tactrix isnt worth the 20hp you will get. i Just bought these things will reflash it tommorow im excited. This is the easist way to get your Ralliart to 300hp!!!
