I probably know the answer to this, but just want to confirm myself...

Will this tune work if I have a full turbo-back?

What issues were you having again?

My cars transmission would do three quick hops before rolling in 1st gear from a dead stop did that I say 85% of the time. Can't wait to get it back.

Did you ever have a tune on your RA or was it completely stock. If you did have a tune did you just go back to your stock tune before taking in for service? How many miles on the RA before the transmission went?

Only had the GST tune w/ boost pill. I went back to stock tune when I turned it in and still did the same thing. I noticed it when I had 17000 - 18000 miles on it when it started.

No. The adapter is for older vehicles. Getting the base Open Port 2.0 is all you need to do.

You only need the cable. But I think you can get all adapters for like 20$. I took them, I've got a few friend with WRXs so it may come useful... For 20$ it's almost a nobrainer :P

Cool thanks guys.

So I suppose in my case, I should log the car first with my stock map.

Then log the car again with the GST base map to see the difference?

Because I do have a full exhaust system.

I suppose the log will show me if i'm overboosting or whatever etc right? (assuming i'm using EvoScan...)

I think ive seen people in this thread with full TBE running the base map without problems but pre and post logging would be a good idea to be safe.

If you get me enough logs I can custom tailor a BaseMap for the TBE/HFC guys..

You will most likely overboost with the current maps but the Error Correction will reign it in pretty quick.

My laptop crashed, and i lost my stock tune that i had saved on it.
Someone from here sent me their stock tune, i'm wondering if i can use that tune whenever i go back to the dealer. Will i work just as fine as the original that i had on.
Thanks

Gotcha Bryan!

I will advise you once I have done some logging, should be in the next 2 weeks.

Do you want logs from a stock map or the GST base map or both?

Thanks for everything!

I just took the entire day to read through 71 pages of this thread, lots of interesting information.

Some where in this thread mentioned something about "Lean Spool"

What is that?
