Am I doing this right?

So I just got my Tactrix and was playing around with it.

To save my stock map..
- Open ECUFlash
- Click on "Read from ECU"
- When done, Click "Save Rom"

Is this right?

Also, I noticed my ECU ID has 10 ending, is this ok?

Also, I got EvoScan...

I followed Bryan's instruction and checked off all the things i need to Log

So when I drive my car on 3rd or 4th gear, do I hit "Start data Logger"?

How do I few the logs?

I'm new to this, so any feedback would be awesome.

Thanks

So what is the big difference between the V1 with boost pill and the V2 with boost pill? If a person was going to do the tune for the first time should you always just choose the new V2? Also is the tune safe if you go with the EVO IX or X metal BOV?

Both tunes are good with the upgraded metal oem dv. I would just do V2 for the most power and better shift quality. That is really the difference of v1 and v2.

Bryan,

Is the current V2 setup for cold temperatures. I live in NY and will be seeing cold weather soon enough. I wanted to make sure before it goes into limp mode. LOL Is there a way to fix this without flashing back to stock if this does happen? I'm just concerned about being stuck on the side of the road one cold winter day. Thanks for everything!!

Looking at taking the plunge & reflashing but just a little worried as to how safe this is for Australian fuels & conditions, only mods I have are K & N filter, metal bov, injen uicp & CP-E catback.

I'm in Sydney and have been running the v1 base map (stock pill) for a solid 6 months or so. Only mode currently on the car is a filter (but this is soon to change).

cheers.

As some others have asked in this in thread:

How will the V2 basemap work in cold weather? Already had only +5 *C last night here in Sweden and I fear the upcoming winter will be as harsch as the last one.

I will soon recieve a boost pill and I'm wondering if it's worth to install or just go stock map at winter. I don't want to have engine failure in the middle of nowhere at -15-20 or so *C

Hello Bryan,

Here are the logs for a Full-Exhaust with V2 GST basemap NO boost pill (93 Oct).

Its a 3rd and 4th gear sweep. I did 2 runs, I will attach both.

Thanks again Bryan for everything!

Hey guys I am working on moving all the basemaps boost control to PSI-Target instead of load target which will make the boost control MUCH more consistent in weather changes like this.

My project RA is already running with this system.
