I can definitely hear the turbo more now with the HKS filter. We still have some in stock if anyone is still in the market.

Are they listed on your site? Under what name?

I'm interested in picking one up, assuming you ship to Canada and your rates are reasonable.

Look under other manufactures in product manufactures and HKS. The filter is under Evo X, which is a fit with the RA for $36.

Does AMS even ship to canada? I tried to order one, put all my info in, and the ups shipping thing said they could not deliver to me?

It's not like I'm in a rural area, I'm in a vancouver suburb, 5 minutes from downtown.

its likely just due to lousy webpage programming. call AMS directly if they can ship to the US its no different shipping to canada.

I never understand these places that refuse to ship to canada. or charge a arm and a leg more.

So I just installed my HKS filter and did notice a louder sucking noise. I did however when shift hear like a whistle/sucking sound? Is this normal or is it not flush? I double checked it but it is dark outside.

on the shift noise, seems like you're fine. likely hearing a bit of the factory diverter valve (bpv) like a quick high pitched whoosh of air? thats it. for the sucking noise on accel, how much louder? like just a bit or does it sound like you put on a full cold air intake kit with a cone filter, etc. if its that loud, you likely havent completely seated the airbox correctly during reassembly. just double check that everything is snug and you should be fine

So I rechecked it and looks good but now the engine is making like this rattle noise at low RPMs and startup.

The RA and Evo both have loud valvetrain "tapping". If thats the noise youre hearing. then its pretty normal.

The HKS filter has a dry element.
