I had an HKS drop in for about 500 miles and didn't have any issues. Definitely louder turbo and BPV vs stock.

I have one for sale if anyone is interested, swapped it out for an intake.

I have had mine on since christmas. Zero problems. Increased intake sound and increased sound from my HKS SSQV plubmed back.

I would definately recommend this filter to anyone.

I've had the HKS drop-in for 5,000 miles now. No issues or negatives to report with it. Just hit 15,000 miles too. I need to check it to make sure it is still clean, but imagine it's good for another 5,000 miles.

Do you recommend to get a tune with a drop in filter such as hks.

A tune on your stock setup will give you decent gains if you get a boost pill along with it (the stock tune is conservative), but no you do not need one specifically because you got a drop-in filter. =)
