I just got mine yesterday and installed it.
I like how my turbo sounds now. Definitely I can hear the BPV making that pssstchoo sound lol also turbo spool is louder too.

I don't know how anyone could hate this filter

I've been running the HKS filter now for about 6 months. Zero issues.

I've had the HKS filter since like Aug, nothing bad to say about it so far. All u guys say how much louder the BPV is and the turbo spooling, I didn't notice ANY difference between the stock filter and the HKS noise wise.

If not then oh well HKS should be better quality than original

You'll hear some more turbo sounds for sure without music playing. Going along with road noise and music playing you probably won't notice anything, but I wouldn't expect that from a drop-in anyway. Overall its worth it for the price I think. =)

I've got about 7,000 miles on the filter so far. I pulled it out to look at it a month or so ago, and it still looks pretty clean. I'll probably replace it around 12k

Cool. I live where the airs pretty clean all throughout the year so I guess I'll be ok even if I go past the recommended 10k before I have to switch it out.

Yeah I'm not sure if mine made a substantially large difference in noise or not, I also installed the Catback system too though, so it's probably too loud to hear it xD
