  • T1R pipes do fit. Any pipes made for the EvoX will fit our cars if you have an X intercooler. If you have the RA intercooler, you will need an extension on the upper pipe to reach the IC.
  • If you use the stock RA upper IC pipe with an EvoX intercooler, you will need to trim off a section of the braided hose.
  • You can install upper IC pipes without removing the bumper.
  • I'd highly recommend removing the bumper to install an IC or the lower IC pipe.
  • Removing the bumper the first time is hard, but worth it. It's a lot easier to remove the 2nd time, now that you understand how those annoying white clips attach to the bumper.

I just talked to a UR rep and he said that it's all bolt on and the silicon fittings provided will fit from the stock pipe to the fmic.
We'll see when it gets here. From what menendez is saying and the rep, I should be fine without any modifications.

BTW menendez I saw your YouTube vids and you are sick!! Or I should say your car is sick!! Lol

Ah ok, I see in this pic they provide some reducing couplers to replace the RA's rubber braided hose:

You'll probably need to use different couplers if you ever upgrade your IC pipes, though.

Thanks for the pics. I'll use the picture for reference.
I don't plan on upgrading the pipes since people said that it'll get louder in the cabin once I change the pipes.

The pipes do increase the noise slightly, but not as much as a drop-in filter.

I just picked up the UR UICP kit from my dealer and they had the UR FMIC in stock as well. The FMIC looks more polished(nice) than what you see online.

I will install my new UICP when I get a chance and hopefully buy the FMIC in March, mad money permiting of course.

I can't wait to install my new SS UICP

I am not sure if having a dealer thats into mods and located two blocks from my work is a good thing.

Cheers

Just let me know anything that you feel.
Anything from noise level to "i think i'm getting sucked into the chair a lil more" feedbacks lol

Also, get those air fresheners already! I heard they give mad hp!!

I replaced both the upper and lower IC pipe, at the same time as the EvoX intercooler.

I didn't really notice a change in the butt dyno, but it sounds better and the turbo spools up faster (the hard pipes don't expand under boost).

I imagine you'll see a decent gain with a tune. For me, this is all in preparation for a turbo upgrade.

Menendez I have a different question about the UR intercooler.
Would the pressure for the turbo change from changing the fmic?
I'm not planning on getting a tune for the fmic...

boost level should not change. that is controlled by your actuator and boost solenoids.
