Sound is cool, but that is not really my main concern. If the stock bov works better than any other aftermarket, then thats what I am going to stick with. If there are aftermarket bovs/recircs that actually work better, then thats what I want.

If sound isn't your main concern, the stock bpv does its job for the amount of boost our turbo produces stock. If u do some upgrades and have higher boost, your best bet is to just upgrade to the metal stock Evo X bpv.

I read somewhere on this forum. I wanna say it was guy from RRM that was saying he measured both evo x bov and ralliart and that internally they were identical. That the only difference was the fact that one was plastic and other was metal. I will try and post

The only differences that I know of is that our is plastic not metal and the Evo X one can hold more boost before it could start to leak.

What's the difference between a stock Evo X bov and that AMS bov? I'd rather buy a used stock one for $50 than the AMS one for $160.

They say it's the same one. So getting a used evo x bov is ok. If you can find one on sale...

The AMS one is the stock Mitsubishi one(Can't remember if it is the Evo IX one or the X one). The $50 one is used or new?

I just put $50 cause I had no idea what a reasonable price on a used bov was, and that seemed like it might be about right.

While on the subject of BOVs...Do you guys know if uicp and licp from evo x would fit on the RA? If so, any benefit to doing that?

Yes, but I believe you need a different coupler to the turbo outlet pipe.
Yes, more HP and TQ.

Can I have someone confirm this? I have a guy trying to get rid of icp from evo with BOV and looking to buy it super cheap. When you say different coupler, what would I need?
