Pretty Much what I want to do as well.
Good Job!!!
Either you max out the stock turbo and E85/Meth
or
EVO X turbo with bolt on's power.

I can't wait til my tax return!

All in all I am very pleased with the tune. I was trying to keep this build on somewhat of a budget and debated whether or not to actually go through with the install and tune. I would like to slap myself for ever considering that. I think the thing I like most is to most people I have a lancer with tinted windows. Maybe even to some of the more knowledgeable they know it's a ralliart but looks stock.

AMS has an awesome setup there, we spent most of the day checking out the show room and watching satellite as we waited for our cars to be tuned. My only gripe is I wish I would of realized the PS3 with GTA5 and their race seat with steering wheel and pedals setup was hooked up and on the whole time!
That's awesome! Congrats!

I think I'm going to wait until the warranty expires before I consider the Evo X turbo swap though.

Luckily I know someone that is upgrading the turbo on their X and they have offered to sell me their OEM parts so I could do a Evo X turbo swap.

Not to mention there is a local tuner in my area that can provide the tune once the turbo swap is complete.

Yea I debated for some time about whether or not to go through with it for warranty reasons. I guess I will just deal with it if a problem comes up. Hopefully I won't have any though!

Nice job with the swap. I'm doing mine in about a month or two since I'm still on the search of a stock evo x exhaust manifold.

Yes, I wanted to keep it quiet. I considered looking for a quiet aftermarket exhaust but decided on waiting and see what kind of power I could push through the stock catback. As of right now I think I will stick with stock, the TP and O2/DP did give it a bit more of a rumble and it is definitly louder. I've always been more of an intake/turbo/engine kind of guy than exhaust sound anyways. Quiet while cruising, but hear me coming when I'm on it.

If your interested in the "recommended" brackets and bolts from the X swap list let me know. I bought them but didn't end up using them. I also have X UICP and LICP and the intake pipe if you need them. Don't forget you will also need the oil feed line, not sure if that was updated on the swap list yet. Other than that, get those parts on the list and you shouldn't have any issues.

I also kept the ralliart turbo outlet tube vs. X and I don't seem to have any fitment issues. The evo might be a different part number but the ralliart one seems to work just fine.

wow impresive numbers, seeing how my tax return is coming in soon I am not sure what i want to do. I am debating to go 1. full bolt ons stock turbo and tune 2. X swap or 3. full bolt on stock turbo and run E-85 ( 2 maps) hmmm what to do? of course like most of us , I dont want to spend too much

I considered a similar path too. I layed all the prices out in a spreadsheet for the X swap. All said and done including tune I have ~$1600 in the swap after selling my stock stuff. And I still have a few more parts laying around I need to sell. I think for the money and power achieved this option cannot be beat.

I paid $600 shipped for turbo, manifold, coolant feed and return lines, oil return line, air inlet adaptor and o2 housing.
