TC-SST Failure. Imporant!

Yes Mitsubishi is working to replace his transmission as we speak(read)!
Amusing, as our closer Service Shop said HELL NO!
It inspires me some confidence seeing as how the "other" Mistu Service Shop is still honoring warranty with all the bolt-ons installed and what not...

Jazket didn't mean to steal your thread! i just wanted to have a poll so we can see the extent of the problem maybe the percentage of people having issues .. all that good stuff
so you guys could put in some input in here:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...rant-poll.html
then come back to this thread and continue discussing lol 0=)

Hey bud, have you changed your tranny fluid after the initial break in of the transmission. I did it when my car felt like it was slipping and man was there a HUGE difference. It was like new again. And mind you im at 300 hp and 300 tq (evox swap) and i have double ur miles 38k.
*Note i know this is an old thread but maybe with a semi-solution for those who dont read all the threads.

So I read through this entire thread.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that putting the SSP upgraded clutch pack/fluid pretty much corrects any issues/future issues?

I spoke to Jeremy at SSP. He actually gave me my confidence back in the SST.
He has a customer who has a 500hp Ralliart with stock clutches and hasn't run into any issues.
He said it's very unlikely that Mitsubishi would make different clutches/internal parts between the Ralliart/MR.
I told him about the bolt ons I wanted to do which would bring me to about 290whp/320wtq, and he said the best bet is better fluid and a cooler. It will keep the shifts always smooth and the temperatures way down.
One thing he did mention of interest though is that in the MR, the software reduces the throttle down to about 50-60% on launch to not break anything. The Ralliart on the other hand has full power the whole time. Therefore, constant hard launches could definitely be the culprit since all that torque is being blasted into there right off the line.
That being said, if you are going to be launching all the time, upgraded clutches, steel rings, fluid and a cooler will probably solve a lot of problems.

Have anyone notice this kind of thing:
When cruising on highway on automatic mode with 6th gear(also manual and tapping to 4th gear from 6th),and i do kick down, gear goes 4th and it starts reving first before go? And when it goes,it feels like there is only some of power potential. Okay,i would not think this so hard like i am,if it does this all the time. Then i just would think,it´s electrical and just protecting gearbox. But sometimes it will go imediatly with no reving and "thinking" when i put gas to the floor in totally same conditions.
If someone had found this thing in map/sst tables and figured out,how to get out of it. So imediatly response and GO. Please let me know.
Or is time to change fluids?
